Trick or Treat 2009

Just wanted to wish all of you a Happy Halloween. Hope you gets lots of treats and very little tricks. I remember not too many years ago when Meagan was much younger how much she looked forward to picking out a costume and getting a bag full of candy. I really miss those days.

I hadn't bought any treats yet since I was supposed to be going to dinner tonight with my sister for a late birthday. Plans changed due to Halloween and Meagan and Cally are going to a party tonight. Tomorrow we will go for late lunch or early dinner. So that means that now I have to get dressed and go to Wally World for treats for the little ones that may drop by. I love seeing those little kids with treat bags bigger than they are! I carved 1 pumpkin and Meagan did 2 pumpkins. They turned out really cute and tested them out last night.

Not too scary!
As soon as the sun starts to go down tonight I will light them up for the kids tonight. Enjoy your weekend!!

We're on the same track, Becky. Our family has been gone traveling the last four years at Halloween time. The kids are REALLY looking forward to handing out candy to the little ones and having fun. They're doing their part already by eating all the candy I bought yesterday! lol

I always spend ages reading your blog posts Becky - so interesting. And hope you had a good Halloween (if there is such a thing as a "good" one). We don't do Halloween here so October 31 is just the end of the month - nice and quiet and getting warm!

Just spent the last few minutes reading your blog. Your jack-o-lanterns were fabulous! Hope you had a wonderful birthday. And, I especially appreciated reading your post about your journey through to health after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Thank you for sharing that with us all.

Sorry I missed you birthday Becky. I hope you had a great day. How nice to be taken out for dinner.

It does seem as if the years fly past and the children get older too quickly.

Thanks for coming by to visit our blog! Our Fuji (sometimes called "the Foo") is getting the ROYAL treatment for her special birthday. Her Gotcha Day is coming up, along with mom's birthday - for which she was the present! She came to us 2 yrs ago from rescue with that name, and it suits her well.
We love to spoil the 'ol girl!
Licks and snorts to the other Fuji!

I loved the Jack O Lanterns. We never get trick or treaters being so isolated in the country and I miss seeing all the little ones in their costumes.
You haven't posted in a while. I hope all is well.
